Your Future

Welcome to Eagle Aerospace Military Academy - Arizona Wing!

At Eagle Aerospace Military Academy (EAMA), we are committed to providing a transformative educational experience that prepares cadets for success in academics, flight, leadership, and athletics.

Our rigorous curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary learning. Cadets engage in challenging coursework in mathematics, science, English language arts, and aerospace-related subjects, preparing them for future academic pursuits and careers in aerospace, engineering, and related fields.

In addition to academics, EAMA places a strong emphasis on flight training. This is perhaps the most unique aspect of our program, and the primary draw for many cadets. Cadets begin glider pilot training in their first year, with an expectation that they will solo in the same year. Cadets are then on a steady path for powered flight, as well as other lighter-than-air pilot training.

At EAMA, we believe in nurturing the whole cadet — mind, body, and spirit. That's why we offer a variety of extracurricular activities. These activities not only complement our academic and leadership programs but also inspire cadets to explore their interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with a focus on aerospace and aviation.

All of our cadets participate in an athletic program that encourages life-long fitness, provides opportunities for competition, and introduces sports that can be pursued at the collegiate level.

Beyond academics and athletics, EAMA is committed to instilling leadership qualities and strong character values in our cadets. All cadets are co-enrolled in the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program, and take advantage of 80 years of proven leadership and character development instruction. We believe that by fostering a culture of leadership and character, we empower our cadets to become confident, ethical leaders in all of their future endeavors.

Whether your aspirations lie in academia, athletics, military service, or aerospace exploration, Eagle Aerospace Military Academy provides the resources, support, and opportunities to help you achieve your goals. We invite you to explore our website, learn more about our program, and discover what makes EAMA a school experience like no other.

Welcome to the Eagle Aerospace Military Academy family, where excellence, integrity, and leadership soar!

FAQs

EAMA is not for everyone. In fact, we actively encourage prospective cadets to look at all of their options before applying. Our school model is very different from the traditional brick and mortar model, and can’t really be considered analguous to most homeschool models either. Our program provides fast-paced academics, but also provides cadets with extra time to fully engage in our flight, athletic, and extra-curricular programs. We want to provide our cadets with tremendous opportunities without wasting any time or energy on compulsory box-checking events. Take a look below at frequently asked questions.

  • Age is not a consideration for joining EAMA. Instead, we require that cadets be ready to complete freshman year (9th grade) academics to join.

  • Yes, all cadets are expected to participate in the aviation program at EAMA. In some rare circumstances, a cadet’s health circumstances may prevent the cadet from becoming a certificated pilot.

  • We expect cadets to complete a minimum of 8 course credits per school year. Our school year begins in August, but courses and activities are year-round.

  • Yes! We know how important accredited academics are for future college enrollment. The academic program is delivered through Apex Learning, which is accredited by Cognia, ACS WASC, and the College Board. Addition accreditation details can be found here.

  • Cadet tuition is paid for through the Arizona Student Voucher Program. Tuition covers all academic courses and materials as well as most extra-curricular costs. Cadets will pay for their transportation and living expenses, as well supplies and uniforms.

  • Cadets are assigned a Training Officer to oversee academic course progression. Training Officers provider regular progression feedback to cadets and parents on a bi-weekly basis.
